The provider network is built broadly and includes providers that meet network credentialing criteria, which includes but is not limited to, verifying appropriate licensure, education and training, board certification, work history, DEA licensure, accreditation/certification status, review of sanctions and a review of an acceptable history of professional liability claims. The network includes providers in specialties that are recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS), the American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM), or that have completed a training program recognized by the American Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Providers not meeting established criteria are subject to rejection or termination from network participation.
