Nippon Life Benefits utilizes the Aetna Signature Administrator (ASA) network as a rental network. ASA supports our members’ appointment wait times by adhering to NCQA based Appointment Wait Time standards in compliance with NY state requirements. Wait times are no more than10 business days for an initial appointment with an outpatient facility or clinic, 10 business days for an initial appointment with a health care professional who is not employed by or contracted with an outpatient facility or clinic, 7 calendar days for an appointment following a discharge from a hospital or an emergency room visit.

Members also have the option to report provider directory errors by accessing the Aetna Signature Administrators provider portal at Provider Search - Home | Aetna. Once you have identified a provider error you can report this information via the link. Automated cases are then created to investigate and resolve errors that are reported in this matter subject to state requirement turnaround times.
